Questions about supported chains, menu coverage, and how the restaurant data is assembled.

How many restaurants does MacroBite support?+

MacroBite supports 30+ major chains and continues to expand. Coverage focuses on national fast food and fast casual brands with published nutrition information.

Can I search for restaurants outside my area?+

Yes. Nearby discovery is optional. You can manually browse supported chains even if you are planning ahead or searching outside your current location.

How often is restaurant data updated?+

MacroBite updates restaurant data on an ongoing basis as official nutrition information changes, new menu items are introduced, or deprecated items are removed.

Macros & Accuracy

How MacroBite handles nutrition data, verification, and accuracy expectations.

Are the macros estimated or official?+

MacroBite uses official restaurant nutrition data as its source whenever available. The app is designed to avoid unsupported estimates in verified surfaces.

Why might store-prepared food vary from the listed macros?+

Restaurant preparation can vary by location, employee, and portioning. MacroBite reflects the official nutrition data provided by the chain, but real-world servings can still differ.

What does Verified mean in the app?+

Verified indicates the macro information comes from official nutrition sources and has been processed through MacroBite's review flow before being displayed.
