("MacroBite," "we," "our," or "us") provides an iOS app that helps users find fast food orders with verified macro information, curated recommendations, and AI-assisted order suggestions. 3. Health, Nutrition, and Location Data
MacroBite is a fitness and nutrition decision-support app. If you provide macro targets, eating goals, dietary preferences, or similar inputs, we use that information to personalize recommendations inside the app. We treat this information as sensitive in context even when it is not regulated as protected health information.
Location access is optional. If you enable it, MacroBite uses location information to surface nearby restaurants and improve local discovery. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings and continue using the app without that feature.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With vendors and service providers that help us host the app, authenticate users, process analytics, or deliver support functionality.
- With Apple in connection with subscriptions, in-app purchases, and platform-level services you use through the App Store ecosystem.

- To protect the rights, safety, security, or property of MacroBite, our users, or others.

- Supabase for hosted database, authentication, and backend infrastructure services.

These providers may process information on our behalf under contractual restrictions and only as needed to provide their services to MacroBite.
6. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
We store information using cloud infrastructure and commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Account and app data may be stored using Supabase-backed infrastructure or comparable managed cloud services. Data in transit is encrypted, and we use access controls intended to limit who can reach production systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We retain data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or update certain personal information associated with your account.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to legal or operational retention needs.
- Request an export of data associated with your account where applicable.
- Disable optional permissions, including location access, from your device settings.

9. International Data Transfers
If you use MacroBite from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the service, you understand that these transfers may occur subject to applicable legal safeguards.
